Everyone needs to know how to name and express feelings. Each jar holds 101 little cards printed with “feelings words”—gleeful, insecure, grateful, angry, cranky, courageous, hopeful, and many more. Pull a slip and act out the feeling, or invite someone else to act it out. Use as discussion starters, journaling prompts, or icebreakers for groups. A fun way to encourage dialogue.

Slightly disappointed in this product as I was looking for more than just typed emotions. This would be easy to print yourself to put in a jar. It’s a basic item, just provides various emotions- mainly for an advanced client as the emotions are very descriptive. So far older teens aren’t aware of the various emotions.

Feelings in a jar has been great in my practice to use for rapport building and helping children identify their feelings. It's also great in building social skills because it allows children to tap into their creative side in acting out feelings. I highly recommend to anyone who needs a different fun angle to help children open up about their feelings!
