Description:
By popular demand, a plastic sand tray with a lid for sandplay therapy. Made in England, this sand tray is translucent blue with a clear lid is a smaller than a regular-sized tray, making it more portable if desired or ideal for a small playroom. Handles on the tray lock the lid securely in place for portability. The blue color of the tray can represent water or the sky.
This tray stacks nicely if you need more than one. Waterproof, shatterproof, durable, and easy to disinfect. Tray is made from safe plastic and REACH compliant.
External dimensions are 20 1⁄2" x 13 3⁄8" x 3 3⁄8". Tray will hold 25 lbs of sand. 10 liters. Recommended age 13+ years.

I like these boxes as they are a great size and they are blue in color like a full size sand tray. But there is no seal in the lid so if it tips at all, sand comes out. Not great.

I bought this tray to make a play therapy tray filled with colored rice (instead of sand). It is the perfect size to put on a shelf out of the way and then pull out for play therapy as needed. It is sturdy enough to hold the heavy sand or rice, and the lid locks on with the handles. It is small enough that it is not difficult to lift but large enough for space to play. One drawback is that the lid and tray lock are not airtight, so rice or sand can spill out through the loose seal when the tray shifts sideways. Aside from this, it was a perfect fit for my semi-portable sand tray kit.

Overall, seems fairly well-made and durable. The side handles do secure the lid, but seem a little easy to move out of place so it may help to plan on a case or some other means of keeping the sand from spilling out when transporting.

I love that it is blue and I like the size. However, the handles do not click into place and it could easily spill which makes it less ideal as a mobile sand tray. If you're just storing sand in your play room, then I'm sure it would be fine.

This container is the perfect sizer for our sand tray therapy room! It holds about 25 lbs of sand. It is sturdy and looks great. The lid does not seal the container but it does clip on using the handles, so it works well for us.

I love this size tray. It stacks well and is just the right depth. It is the same length and width as the 33 liter tray, but not as deep, so it works better for the space that I have.

These are the perfect size and cost to provide multiple sand tray options to meet children’s needs for processing (adults, too, of course). When budgets don’t allow for the official wooden trays, these are a reasonable substitute.

I love the size of this. It is enough to make a good "world" but not too much and overly wieldy. I love the unbreakable nature and the porability! Play Therapy supply is so good to work with, so helpful and on top of it! I love ordering from them!
