An exciting game children will want to play over and over again. First, children get to mold monsters out of dough. Players move their playing pieces along the funny foot-shaped game path. When a player lands on a monster stomp space they get to stomp the dough monster with their stomper and put it in jail! Children delight in the making and mashing of monsters! You can choose your own customizations too. Have your clients make their own monster instead of using the mold. Game is useful for overcoming anxiety and a good icebreaker for introducing mastery over fears.
The object of the game is to stomp as many monsters as you can. The first to fill his or her Monster Jail card wins!
Ages 4 and Up, 2 to 4 Players

Exceptional game
| June 30 2015
This is an exceptional game that I work with my younger client. It allows her to label her behavior and get some control over the behavior. It is a fun game and the client loves the game because it allows her to get her frustration out.

Its easy to play. The kids like to mold the monsters and stomp them . It gives me an opportunity to assess how compulsive they are about making the monster perfect or stuffing as much clay as possible into the mold, stomping the monster once or making it perfectly flat. I wish there were some discussion questions though.

My kids LOVE this game! I played with a 4 year old, and it was easy for him! He enjoyed stomping the monsters. I not only called the monster a monster, we pretended that it was “anger.”

I used this game often as a child therapist. It provided many moments to discuss emotional issues -- and it's fun! This one I bought as a Christmas gift for a beloved grand nephew.

This game was so exciting and rewarding to a young client, that it was used as a reward to help him go to the restroom at home unaccompanied. He was able to accomplush that goal in a week and earn the game. (His parent got it for him after he had played it once in session).
Another client names her monsters before stomping them (her interpretation of monsters are things that make her angry). This was the easiest way to get her to do that.

Doesn’t really help kids face fears like I thought it would. But my son love to destroy the monsters. We played a long long time.
