I love these! Have used with preteen and teen clients so far. They have enjoyed sorting the magnets and choosing which ones describe themselves. The tactile activity makes discussion about otherwise nebulous or difficult-to-talk-about concepts really accessible, even for less verbal kids. Me Magnets have easily taken the majority of an hour session with my clients, making for excellent self-discovery and counselor assessment. Some of the vocabulary is challenging, which can make for some good psychoeducation for kids aged 10 (or so) and up. My only constructive criticism is that I wish the tin container were a little bigger. It's kind of tough to fit all of the pieces back in once the magnets are all separated.
