Description:

By popular demand, a small portable plastic sand tray with a lid for sandplay therapy.  This sand tray is translucent blue with a clear lid. Handles on the tray lock the lid securely in place for portability. The blue color of the tray can represent water or the sky.

This tray stacks nicely if you need more than one. Waterproof, shatterproof, durable, and easy to disinfect. Measures 14 5⁄8" x 10 1⁄4" x 3 3⁄8". Tray will hold 5-10 lbs of sand, sold separately.

I rated the sand tray's as "just ok" because the lid doesn't securely lock on the end. The lid is very easy to become unlocked which can cause all the contents inside of the sand tray to fall out easily.

I like this tray because it is more shallow than a regular box which is good for my child who has a smaller stature. We made a fall touch and play sensory box and he is able to access all the items without having to stand or kneel up over the box. It's a great match for him.
