The Socially Speaking Game

The Socially Speaking Game teaches and reinforces social skills by focusing on social interaction in three key areas: home, school, and the wider community. Children are given the opportunity to practice vital skills such as listening, turn-taking, asking questions, making phone calls, and conveying emotions.

2-6 players. Ages 7+. Using a variety of role-play and problem-solving activities, children are given the opportunity to practice vital skills including:

• Greetings
• Turn-taking
• Eye contact
• Listening
• Compliments
• Emotions
• Showing interest in what others are saying
• Sitting appropriately and still
• Communicating in a wide number of situations (e.g. school, friends house, restaurant)

Contains game board, 100 question cards, 24 colored rings, 6 playing pieces, teacher’s notes. Average game length: 20-30 minutes
