Pretend Play Multicultural Families- 32 Piece

I am very pleased with the figures. They are the perfect size for the sand box I use. My clients have used them in a variety of ways and find that they can stand up in sand, on hard floor and on carpet.

Great set apart from the Caucasian family , who were grey in color.

I was disappointed with the color of the skin tones and the intricoes of the facial details. However, I realize they are mass produced. I have painted them to improve their diversity. Also, they don't sand on their own very well and fall down easily.

Looking forward to using these in child-centered play with clients.

As an EMDR and Sand Tray therapist, I cannot ever have enough figures that represent diversity to help clients feel supported and valued as they are. This is a great set of figurines that depict not only several races, but ages and genders as well. I am certain it will get a lot of use.

Good quality. Seems old in appearance (the way they dress, etc.) but it works.

I was excited when I received my families of different multicultural, because in my sessions some of my kids have a white mom and a brown dad and a white sister and a brown brother so the can act out what looks most like their family and I seen such a difference as my clients play an act out their families life, thank you for making such a great helping tool 5?stars

Thank you for providing culturally appropriate figures. I have had a difficult time finding Asian and Hispanic figures that are not perpetuating negative stereotypes. I love these figures and I am so happy to be adding them to my playroom.

The Caucasian people look greyish green and sick. I have already had a couple children comment on it and they also said that most of the people look angry or scary. It's also kind of irritating that they don't bend so that they can be put in a sitting position. I would like to return these people.

All of the families are great except the Caucasian family. Their skin color is incorrect and they look like zombies. Otherwise a great set.

The figures worked well in our children's group sandtray funerals. When the figures arrived, one family was missing a boy and Play Therapy Supply immediately sent a replacement box.

These figures are fantastic. They are great value, good quality and work very well in sand trays. The Caucasian family are grey in colour which was odd because I ordered other figures from the professionals set and diverse abilities set, and the Caucasian figures are not grey in those sets. I am still very pleased with them. I would highly recommend.

Colors aren't perfect, but much better for giving representation and diversity than what we previously had.

I like the more realistic look of these, but wish that they were poseable.

I feel like they’re good quality and I like that it comes in a bundle package. The only kinda questionable thing is that some of the outfits / faces feel a little outdated so maybe that could be updated.

Purchased these to add to my sand tray therapy collection. Shipping was timely and product was received as described. I was happy to purchase the 32 piece set but it did not include the Native American family so I purchased that separately. The pieces are sturdy and well made and should hold up well to use and play.
