Bad batch of sand?

I am right there with Kathy. Something is wrong with the “Sand”. You can’t make a dent in it without a lot of pressure on the tools. I’m sure Play Therapy Supply will check to see if we got a bad batch. I loved the idea for a desktop distresser. Now the only one distressed is me : )

I love how soft the “sand” is. However, I also don’t like how sticky it is. I’m having to buy hand wipes for kids to clean their hands off since I don’t have a sink in my office. That’s the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars.

This is the go to in my office for kids and adults. It is very calming and you can use any oils to scent the sand. Excellent purchase.

I am not sure if the "sand" I have is correct....if looks and feels like stretchy dough. Is this the way it is? I was expecting actual sand texture.
