How much sand do I need to fill a typical tray?

25 lbs of sand will fill most trays nicely to about the halfway point. We recommend keep a bit extra on hand to top the sand back up after inevitable spills.

The color is a lot darker than I had expected! It's more red. The texture of this sand is wonderful to feel though and it's a little sparkly too. The downside is the color stains your hands a bit over time and some clients don't like that.
