How much sand do I need to fill a typical tray?

25 lbs of sand will fill most trays nicely to about the halfway point. We recommend keep a bit extra on hand to top the sand back up after inevitable spills.

This is BEAUTIFUL sand. We actually used it for our home decor and for our many potted plants in our foyer and hallway. (Pictures below). The sand is a very clean white that does not clump and it has a gorgeous yet subtle crystal like sparkle that adds to its beauty. We highly recommend this excellent product.

I was looking for a "lb" that perfectly fits my standard sized sandtray and 25lb's is absolutely perfect!. The White course sand brings a neutral vibe to the tray, thus fostering that "blank slate" for clinicians to resource with clients with.

Excellent sand. Good Color and has a bit of sparkle to it that adds to the magical feel of sandtray. Good courseness. About enough to cover 2-3 sandtrays depending on the thickness of sand layer you apply.

We love this sand! It is very fine with a hint of sparkle, and doesn't stick to your hands. It doesn't get too crumbly when it's wet - it's fairly easy to drain water out and it dries well. Fast shipping too!

I love this sand. Although, different people like and have strong reactions towards different sands. My colleague, for example, has fine sand b/c he doesn't like the coarse sand like this. Most of my clients like this sand. I also have another option of kinetic sand, which one of my clients uses, who doesn't like the coarseness of this sand.
