Ages 6-10, 2-5 players. Here’s a therapeutic twist on the classic Go Fish card game designed to teach children about responsibility. Children learn the value of acting responsibly with others at school, at home, and in the community. Reel in Responsibility reinforces responsible behavior by helping kids see the benefits of being accountable for their actions.
Includes two decks of 50 cards (one deck for grades K–2, the other for grades 3–5). Each card poses an open-ended question that the player must answer before he or she can request Henry Herring, Markey Mackerel, or any other fish needed for a match. Familiar and fun, Go Fish is an easy, affordable way for children to improve their social and emotional skills.
Sample cards:
- Forgetting to study for your spelling test. Is this being responsible? Why or why not?
- Helping your little brother get dressed. Is this being responsible? Why or why not?
- Peyton told her mom that if she let her stay up and watch a movie, she would wake up early and clean her room. The next morning, Peyton wakes up and does not want to clean her room because she is too tired. What should she do?
